History: Potter Daniel Goodale, Jr., of Whately, Massachusetts moved to Hartford, Connecticut and purchased a pottery business in 1822 with business partner Absalon Stedman. Together they formed Goodale & Stedman. Now well known for their quality and craftsmanship throughout New England.
