Javor Pivka Chairs - COM
Designed in the 1970's by manufacturer Javor Pivka in Yugoslavia. These chairs are quadrangular in shape and made from beech wood.
Each piece is offered in COM (Customer’s Own Material), ready to be upholstered in your choice of fabric or leather for a fully tailored look.
For an additional charge, the chairs can also be made to order in the combination shown—a hickory brown pull-up leather seat paired with a 100% linen beige-and-black houndstooth back.
The pull-up leather is selected for its aged quality: a material that evolves over time, developing a richer tone, subtle sheen, and the markings of everyday use. It softens with age, creating a patina that is entirely its own.
The original frames retain wear consistent with age, adding to the character and authenticity of each piece.
